How To Draw L-Section or Longitudinal Section Of Sewer Line in Ms Excel

Hello dear friends today i am going to post on How To Draw L-Section or Longitudinal Section Of Sewer Line in Microsoft Excel. Before i go ahead you must have these softwares to perform this task. There are lots of method to make long section but today i will show you easy and best way to create longitudinal section "L-Section" profile for your client, consultant or department.

What is L-Section?

The section taken through the length of structure is called longitudinal section. It is also know as elevation of structure.
Longitudinal section is very useful to determine gradient in length by theocratical.

What You Need To Draw Longitudinal Section Of Sewer Line

To draw L-Section "Longitudinal Section" of sewer line nullah or drain  you just need some field book data respectively RD "Reduce Distance" ,N.S.L "Natural Surface Level" and IL " Invert Level"

What is N.S.L

Natural surface level is called "N.S.L" that is the existing condition of earth before laying sewer line here.

What is I.L

I.L is level on which water flow with the natural gradient it is also known as "Invert Level".

How To Draw Sewer Line L-Section / Longitudinal Section

So now i am going to show you awesome method to make sewer line longitudinal section or L-Section in minutes.
Note : You must have Microsoft Excel in your computer or mobile. Follow below steps to make L-Section of sewer line.

1- Open Ms Excel.
2- Write necessary data like as RD, N.S.L and I.L in spreadsheet.
3- Now click on "Insert Tab" and click on "Chart" in chart types choose "Line Chart" this chart will make L-Section of sewer line with accuracy.

4- Then click on "Select Data" button and click on "Add" button here give the name

N.S.L in "name" box and then select data for next box.

5- After adding N.S.L now we need to add I.L "Invert Level" again click on "Select Data" button and write I.L in name box and then choose I.L reading by just draging courser from upside to down.

6- Then click on "Ok" button.

7- Boom L-Section is ready hope u will enjoyed it. I am not expert enough but try my best to provide you my knowledge.
